Volunteers - An Invaluable Asset to Sotterley Plantation

Sotterley Plantation is very fortunate to have a wonderful group of volunteers working with us to preserve the past and protect the future of our beautiful National Historic Landmark. All of our volunteers are invaluable as they selflessly donate their time and talents to benefit a variety of different tasks and special events. Their support makes it possible for us to continue as a public education resource and cultural venue for our community for many generations to come.

Approximately 250 Sotterley volunteers put in excess of 15,000 hours each year. Every volunteer opportunity we offer is based on furthering our mission. Apply now to become a Sotterley volunteer and come make history with us! We would love to have you join our family.

Historic Sotterley Plantation needs you! Our volunteer opportunities are plentiful and we welcome anyone interested in helping out! While there are so many ways you can help, our most critical seasonal needs are:
Museum Shop/Visitor Center,  Docent &  Garden Guild.

To volunteer, fill out the application below and submit it to us.  We'll contact you soon!
